The information for the 2021 Blackdown Beauty routes can be downloaded from this page (left panel). You can run (or walk) the routes in your own time and at your own risk as they are both on public footpaths. Watch out for white drawing pins on some of the stiles to reassure you are on the right route. Make sure you take adequate water as there is only one pub out on the route and obviously there is no cream tea at Stapley. There are a few stinging nettles so best to wear leg protection and after wet weather it is muddy/boggy in a few places. If you bring any dogs they must be on a lead in all the fields. Please don't go on the 10th July but when it works for you in the summer. Parking in Hemyock is easy and we suggest you find somewhere close to the school which is where the routes start from. We would welcome any feedback on the instructions to improve them for next year.

Participation in this event does not affect your entry in the official event we were going to stage and there are various options on refunds for that which should be emailed to you. As the event this year was intended to raise money for MacMillan Cancer we ask you to consider a donation to MacMillan Cancer if you do the route by visiting this page especially if you didn't enter the event before it was cancelled.
