 What the runners said
July 2022
Women on the Run It was glorious Roger: well mapped, delicious cream tea and the best sites the Blackdown Hills have to offer.
Jane Burchall Thanks for a great event. It was the first time I have taken part so wasn’t sure what to expect but it was great. I was so impressed by the ladies and gents who did the cream tea - it was just lovely! Now for next year if you could arrange for it to be not quite so hot that would be just fab!!
Emily Macaulay A special - and huge - thanks to Howard and Roger. I was running my first ever trail run and I was running on my own. A brief chat during Leg A about etiquette and they were both so welcoming.
Claire Jeans Amazing run and event as always. It was a hot one but the women on the run girls had a great time. The first section of the shorter run was pretty overgrown and unfortunately I took a tumble over a hidden branch but this was all part of the adventure. The cream tea was delicious and very well received, so much gratitude to the fabulous WI ladies. Who are outstanding and the welcome they gave us was second to none. Always a pleasure and Pam and Colvins garden looked stunning. Looking forward to next year.
