Comments from 2022 runners
Jenny Debenham : Just wanted to say a big thank you to the team for another glorius event. Thoroughly enjoyed the running and water features. Your marshals were wonderful and very encouraging. Thank you to everyone for giving up their time and hope to see you next year.

Bon Rymel  : I ran today, brilliant event Thankyou to you and all the marshalls.

Lucy Evans : Would like to say a big thank you to all the marshalled on the course. All gave lots of encouragement and friendly.

Eleanor Wood : Thank you for such a great event as usual. I love the Hippo ,so much variety and challenge. All marshals and back room staff excellent as ever. Please send my thanks to all.xxx

Alexa Baker : Please pass on a big well done to all involved with organising the event, it was my first Hippo and won't be the last. I loved the challenges, views, friendly marshals, weather (!), it was a cracker!

Louise Harrison : My first Hippo: It was perfect weather for me - sunny but a cold air and the water obstacles cooled me down too! Lots of tough hills, mud and scary down hills due to loose stones but a fabulous run. Glad I had my trail shoes on. I couldn’t stop smiling all the way round, would definitely recommend and can’t wait until next year! Thank you to all the organisers, Marshall’s and volunteers, without you these races couldn’t happen.
