What the runners said
July 2024
Jane Hemsworth Thank you Roger and your team for organising such a lovely day out. Gorgeous scenery, delicious cream tea in a beautiful garden, being served a very welcome hot cup of tea by lovely ladies. We made friends along the way and we enjoyed our burger at the end.
Gerry Terry: A fantastic event as always. Stunning scenery, local landmarks, marvellous mud and a smashing cream tea! We'll be back next year! Thank you from Women on the Run.
Cathy Parmenter Thank you for a great event. I’m really glad that you managed to raise so much money. We had a great day. Such a lovely route and the cream tea was very much appreciated. I hope to do it all again next year. As back of the pack runners we avoided the rain. I don’t know if anyone got caught in it but it looked pretty dramatic.
Charlie Fawell Really enjoyed it! Highlight has to be the cream tea which was fabulous, lovely location, lovely scones and very lovely hospitality. The route was fantastic, beautiful scenery all the way around, almost as much mud as the Beast, more vertical ascent than the Beast including the Beacon and Wellington Monument and the rain almost held off. For perfection all it lacked was a spot of sunshine. Thanks to all at Honiton Running Club for a great day!
