General duties 

• To take full responsibility for the club’s junior coaching sessions at the designated training area at the agreed times.

• To maintain high ethical and professional standards in coaching, offer support and ensure that assistant coaches prepare all coaching sessions in advance.

• To undertake coach training appropriate to the role and to identify areas for development for the coaching assistant team.

• To work with and support assistant coaches in the preparation and running of each session.

• To attend junior club meetings and report on progress through the juniors secretary or at management committee meetings when requested.

• To assist in the selection of teams.

• To travel to competitions with the junior team(s).

•To inform the Junior Coordinator in advance of any sessions that cannot be attended.
