Overview |
|
The Title of Assistant Junior Coach refers solely the role of the
individual. The minimum qualification will be an E.A. Level 1 coaching
qualification.

General duties and responsibilities |
|
Responsible to: The Junior's Head Coach.
|
|
Specific activities and jobs |
• To assist or lead the club’s junior coaching sessions as agreed
with with the Junior's Head Coach.
• To develop and maintain high ethical standards in coaching, commit
to develop their coaching knowledge and skills and assist in the
preparation of coaching sessions in advance.
• To work with the Junior's Head Coach in the preparation and running
of each session.
• To undertake training appropriate to this role e.g. child protection
training.
• To offer the club feedback on the organisation and degree of success
of junior coaching and competitions.
• To travel to competitions with the junior team(s).
• To inform the Head Juniors’ Coach in advance of any sessions that
cannot be attended.
