 Treasurer
Jo Buxton

This is my fourth year as club Treasurer but I have been a member for much longer. My love for running began when I left school and since then I have run many races and events with my main achievement being the Dartmoor In a Day Ultra Marathon in 2019. I enjoy the competitive events but the social aspect of running is my favourite part.
Chair
Pip Vanham

I only started running because someone signed me up to a 5k so I figured I’d better get going, couldn’t even run to the end of the road but persevered and suffice to say, I got the bug. Now I run for various reasons; for the head space, the social chit-chat, so I can eat more cake and the feeling of getting to a finish line at a race is unbeatable. I’ve been a member since 2017 and I am now honoured to be Chair of such a fantastic club and as a mental health first aider it really is true that getting out in the fresh air is beneficial, especially with likeminded folk who I class as friends.

Secretary
Paula Ferris
Hi, I’m Paula and I am your club secretary. I have been a member of HRC for 5 years.  My profession is that of a dedicated Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist. I love running with HRC and I do so on a very regular weekly basis. I love the friendly, supportive and sociable part of the club. In 2019 I had the honour of running the London Marathon for the HRC and raised over £2,200 for a local charity “The Baton”.  I run for me and my well being and the way it makes me feel (plus I can keep up with my 2 energetic boys!!)

Captain
Mike Mears

Hi, I have been running for over 30 years. I like to encourage new runners. I represented Devon on the track in my younger days. Middle and long distance road and trail running is now my preferred type of run. I have completed 6 Ironman triathlons.

My name is Olivia Killen and I have been a member of Honiton Running Club for nearly 13 years. Within that period I have been lucky enough to have made some great friends, raced all around the South West and had plenty of laughs. For plenty of years I have chased PB's but since having four years out with injury, I am just glad that I can run again. The club keeps me motivated and gets me out running when I need a kick. I run to eat cake and luckily there are plenty of members that think the same as me.

Hi I have been one of the longest serving members of the club and a moderate runner I would say. Always happy to welcome new members to the club. I am a level 1 coach.
